History
of ATEQ's presence in North America. |
| |
ATEQ started its direct activities in North America
in 1989, in Boston, Massassuchets, by selling and servicing
our line of industrial air pressure or vacuum leak and flow
testers.
The expansion of ATEQ was fast, with opening of various offices
throughout the USA. In 1997 ATEQ's US team opened a sales and
service office in Queretaro Mexico,
in order to service better the clients with plants there. In
1999 ATEQ' US team opened the ATEQ Canada sales and service
office in Mississauga (Toronto) Ontario.
In 2004 ATEQ started manufacturing air leak and flow test instruments, designed for the North American market, in its Canton Michigan facility.

ATEQ 's philosophy
in North America. |
|
| |
ATEQ understands the needs of its clients. In order to do
so, and provide the best service, ATEQ has to be present in
close proximity, with trained and qualified people that have
the same educational, professional and cultural background
as their clients, to speak their language, in their time zone.
The network of ATEQ North American structures is not
a highly centralized bureaucratic monster with poorly trained
independent sales representations close to you..
ATEQ has 9 application support locations with full time engineers
exclusive on leak and flow testers throughout North America. The
ATEQ engineer is within driving distance of 90% of our clients..
Repair/Maintenance/Calibration: 4 repair locations in North
America, with stock of spare parts. No need to have the instruments
cross a border to get repairs or calibrations. The proximity
reduces the cost of an intervention in your plant, and gives
flexibility.
With our stock, we manufacture an instrument in Michigan typically
in two to three weeks, but we can sometime make an instrument
in a day, when it is really necessary. A plant close to you
is more flexible, understands your needs and makes the changes
in the products to fit your needs, faster.
Such a system is less vulnerable to any natural or man made
disasters, and manufacturing could be temporarily transfered
to other plants if necessary since
ATEQ has two other manufacturing plants in Taiwan, France
and is just opening one in mainland China.
