.Aircraft / Airplane pitot static /air data testers.
Aircraft service centers and manufacturing plants need to check regularly the calibration and good working order of the pitot static system which is the system that measures the air speed of the aircraft compared to the air (not the ground) and is the basis of the altimeter, horizontal and vertical airspeed indicators .

The altimeter, air speed indicators and vertical speed indicators need to be calibrated regularly. These systems also need to be checked for leaks since a leak would badly affect the mesurement.

Other aircraft sensors like cabin pressure indicators for the release of oxygen masks need to be checked or like stall warning indicators, ground proximity safety indicator for deployment of the landing gear, auto pilot computers.

Additional to a very accurate and traceable pressure (airspeed) and vaccuum (altitude) measurement, and a leak test cycle these instruments can generate on multiple ports simulated flight conditions like a climb, steady flight, and descent, a gradual airspeed incresase, cruising and decrease.

ATEQ has used the synergy of its expertise in industrial air leak test, pressure measurement and calibration and acquired a company that specialized for 18 years in air data testers, also known as pitot static testers. The worldwide network of ATEQ repair and calibration facilities will enable to support , repair and calibrate these instruments where they are used.

ATEQ has air data pitot static testers that are RVSM compliant and mounted on wheels in a weatherproof case for tarmac or hangar use. They come with long hoses and cables to be able to hook up to the pitot tube and static inlets while having an operator interface in the cockpit for an easy comparison with the altimeter, airspeed indicator and vertical speed indicator.

These instruments can be used on a variety of aircrafts from helicopters, gliders, civilian propeller and jet planes, military jets and guided missiles, rockets, drones, airships.

The very user friendly operator interface on some models is a small computer running windows XP so there is no problem to interface or integrate these instruments with a computer system. Files can be stored on a usb mass storage device for use on another computer.

ATEQ-Omicron is on the list of GSE (Ground Support Equipment and tools) suppliers for Airbus industries.

Other famous clients include the French air force, Eurocopter, EADS, Air France industries, Pilatus, Socata, Aeroflot.
They are in use on famous airplanes like Mirage F1, Mirage 2000, Rafale, Transall, Boeing 737 and 747, Airbus (all models), ATR.

ATEQ had also a range of aircraft electrical continuity testers also used by aircraft service and production facilities, the ATEQ AX2000 and ATEQ AX2000-2
