Do
you have to send your leak or flow testers to be calibrated
or repaired to the snow states or out west because getting
someone to fly to your plant costs too much?
Why
would ATEQ set up an office in the Southeast?
ATEQ
realized that working with plants in the southern US is
not the same. The southern plants are not in the traditional
industrial belt, and they too often do not receive the same
services as plants in the Midwest. Southern politeness is
too often overlooked , the team at ATEQ Southeast is just
like you.
You are entitled to receive decent application support from
a trained professional, because you don't pay less for your
leak or flow testers than those other people.
Why should you pay more than them for repairs or calibrations
in your plant either? Why should you be penalized by the
inadequacies of your leak test supplier's structure?

History of ATEQ in the Southeastern US.
Shortly after the creation of ATEQ USA in 1989, ATEQ realized
that there was industry in the Southern states that was
poorly attended by our competitors.
ATEQ kept applications engineers in the Carolinas continuously
since 1991and in Tennessee since 1994, to support leak and
flow test applications
and local customers responded well to this new approach.
With the same level of applications engineering as in other
states, it was now time to provide the same level of proximity
repair and calibration services
to the plants that had purchased ATEQ leak or flow testing
instruments.
In 2003, ATEQ decided to open an ATEQ southeast office in
Cleveland NC, with service technicians, calibration tools
and a good stock of spare parts. The office then moved to Indian Trail (Charlotte) NC.
Since then, ATEQ local clients have enjoyed a level of service
not provided by our competitors in the area.
The convenience and flexibility to have a calibration technician
drive to their plant, at a reasonable cost, convinced a
lot of plant engineers that ATEQ instruments was the best
solution
to their leak and flow test problems. ATEQ has experienced
a steady growth in this area, despite the transfer of plants
to Mexico or China, with a good base of satisfied clients
and a lot of new customers happy to find a company that
respects them.
Our customers always had and have the choice to work with
the larger ATEQ Michigan office or the North Carolina office
for repairs and calibrations
, but most of them prefered the North Carolina, more personable
and human, style of service from the person that came to
their plant and knows them.

Why in Indian Trail?
The Charlotte area is very central to the Piedmont industrial
belt, and we wanted to be within 5 hours of driving of most
of our clients.
In order to get somewhere within 5 hours, it is necessary
to escape Charlotte traffic first. We needed to get good
UPS/FEDEX or other courier coverage, high speed internet, and a ground floor location for easy
loading unloading of instruments..
We have in Indian Trail a practical location, without much traffic
jams, with always a parking spot available in front, not
a fancy office in a downtown high rise.
Our instruments and service pricing are extremely reasonable
as a consequence, you only pay for what you need, not for
any prestigious office location
with poorly trained sales reps in fancy suits driving luxury
cars, unable to get out of a traffic jam to get in time
to your plant.
Some clients even drive with their instruments to Indian Trail
to get same day service.
Please call us first to make sure someone will be available
to attend you, we don't want to have you wait for nothing.
